Tim and Emmas Honeymoon!

Tue 14 Jun - Thu 14 Jul
Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand

Tue 28 - Follow The Yellow Brick Road!

When I say yellow brick road you can also include Tarmac, dirt track, gravel and at times just a wing and a prayer! This was a day of travel to get us to Siem Reap, home of the famous Angkor Wat Temples!

Now apparently this is normally done on a plane but because someone complained that they wouldn't be seeing enough sites on a previous tour they kindly changed it for us!! Now I can see where they were coming from as the villages and sights we saw were great but the near death experiences on the roads kinda balanced it all out! Whenever you think you've seen the worst, there's always something that little bit better that makes you swear out loud! My personal favourite was swerving off the Tarmac single track road onto a dirt track into oncoming traffic to overtake a petrol tanker! So glad the driver was stoked on Red Bull!

Siem Reap was a welcome sight and a beer in the pool was well deserved. I hate to say the day didn't get much more exciting than this. It was out got food and then back home for an early night! After all....we would be getting a wake up call at 04:00!!

Actually, I tell a lie, the food was worth a mention. We went to watch some traditional Cambodian dancing whilst feasting on an authentic Cambodia buffet. Well....when in Cambodia....
