Thu 07 - Can You Beat It?
That was the question that was asked and apparently the answer was yes from our guide! Quite how our current location can be beaten I'm not sure, it was perfect but I'm open to offers on beating perfection!
Writing this part of the update now on the boat from Koh Phangan to Koh Tao. 1hr 30 to kill, well...less now I've brought the blog up to date! Sat being boring inside the cabin, it's still fooking roasting out there so figured I'll try and avoid sunstroke till we hit the beach!
Arriving at the new resort it was pretty stunning! It didn't have the same perfect effect as having a room on the beach like at Bottle Beach on the last island but the resort itself was luxury, well....aside from the 100 steps you had to climb to reach our room that is! But with the height comes a great view over the bay....never get tired of that one!
The group spent the evening in the infinity pool at the higher part of the hotel watching the sun set. The view was great and the company just as good. We enjoyed that view so much we camped out there for the evening meal too, the cool breeze beat any aircon!
